Academics

St. Philip Neri School follows the Course of Study developed by the Archdiocese of Baltimore. The Course of Study is predicated upon content standards promulgated by national organizations of experts in various disciplines and is woven within the Archdiocese standards.

St. Philip Neri educates the students in reading, language arts, math, science, social studies, Spanish, computers, physical education, art, music, and library skills.

Religious instruction centers on providing the student with opportunities to experience God’s love through prayer, scripture, sacraments, and love of neighbor. In addition, the family life program is offered to students in kindergarten through eighth grade. Students also prepare to receive their sacraments which is coordinated with the parish.

St. Philip Neri School is also accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) through June 2015. In accordance with standards set by the Archdiocese of Baltimore, St. Philip Neri met the requirements established by the AdvancED Accreditation Commission and Board of Trustees and was thereby accredited by the SACS Council on Accreditation and School Improvement.
