Registration for Faith Formation and First Confession/First Holy Communion is now open.  Forms are available in the church lobbies and on https://saintphilipnerichurch.net/religious-education.

Praying the Rosary

Our School prays the rosary as a community throughout the school year.

SPN Children’s Ministry

St. Philip Neri Parish has a Children’s Ministry during the 9:30 AM Sunday Mass.

EARLY CHILDHOOD MINISTRY

For children ages 3-6, located in the school.  Children are signed in before Mass and signed out after Mass.  Trained volunteers help plant the seeds of faith through prayer and activities built around the Sunday gospel reading, making their faith journey fun and understandable.

CHILDREN’S LITURGY OF THE WORD

For children ages 7 through 12.  Children attend Mass, but are dismissed before the Liturgy of the Word begins.  Led by trained volunteers, they go to the Chapel for the Readings, Gospel reflection and prayer in language that benefits them and gives them the chance to get involved.  They return to Mass before the Liturgy of the Eucharist begins.

DETAILS

These ministries take place every Sunday except for the first Sunday of the month and special occasions like Christmas and Easter.  Two-month schedules are in the bulletin at the end of each month or available upon request.  Contact Anthony Chavez at 703-869-1520 or arc103@hotmail.com.
